Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads served by Google. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's certified consent message before any advertising or analytics cookies are set; until then Google receives only cookieless signals (Consent Mode).

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful, with IP anonymisation and Consent Mode. Where consent is required and not given, no analytics cookies are set.

Server logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, user agent, URL, time) for security and abuse prevention for a few weeks, after which they are deleted. API rate limiting uses a short-lived hash of your IP address, discarded after a few minutes.

Third parties

  • Open-Meteo (weather and geocoding data) receives the coordinates or place name being looked up, from our server.
  • Typefaces and map data are served from our own server; your browser does not contact a font service.
  • Studio videos, your handle, logo and music files are never uploaded to us.
  • Cloudflare provides our DNS and redirects old or www addresses; requests that go through it are handled under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Google (AdSense, Analytics) as described above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar), you may request access to or deletion of personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time through the privacy settings link of the consent message. Write to contact@meteostack.com; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

MeteoStack is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
